TechGYRLS is a youth empowerment program designed to raise girls’ interest & confidence in the critical areas of science, technology, engineering, arts & mathematics (STEAM). The TechGYRLS Program will help young girls develop 21st Century skills like creativity, collaboration, communication and critical thinking/ problem-solving skill that they can use in any profession they pursue.

YWCA Metropolitan Chicago is now accepting registrations for our Summer TechGYRLS Academy. The YWCA Summer TechGYRLS Academy seeks to bridge the technology gap for our students and help provide some Summer Fun!  Our program will allow the students to explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math (STEAM) fields while learning what they are all about.  We’ll learn about Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR),  Machine Learning, Flying Drones, Coding and Robotics to name a few.
