Workshop & Dinner: South Side Housing Data Project

Join the Office of Civic Engagement (OCE), the Washington Park Advisory Council (WPAC) and the Harris School's South Side Housing Data Project Team for an evening workshop on using parcel surveys to shape and advance housing policy proposals. Harris and OCE will provide a quick overview about the South Side Housing Data Project, which mapped neighborhood conditions in both the Woodlawn and Washington Park communities, and walk through the process for converting parcel survey data into actionable recommendations.

Cecilia Butler, president of WPAC, will be present to discuss the history of the Washington Park community and how the Woodlawn Parcel Survey informed her decision to complete a parcel survey for Washington Park to better understand community needs and advocate for community-driven policies.
