Trauma Care on the South Side: In Conversation with Trauma Center Director Dr. Selwyn Rogers

Chicago Style – a student-run IOP event committee that focuses on Chicago politics and local issues – will host Dr. Selwyn Rogers, director and founder of the Trauma Center at UChicago Medicine.

Dr. Rogers will speak about his work as a surgeon and public health expert, the founding and role of the Trauma Center, and how his background as a trauma surgeon informs his view on issues like gun violence and racial health disparities.
