To&Through Data Collaborative: CPS & To&Through on College Match Framework

Brian Harris and Roy McKenzie will present on work to update Chicago Public Schools' College Match Framework, which uses high school students' GPA and SAT scores to help them put together an initial list of reach, match, and safety schools. Brian Harris is a GEAR UP College and Career Student Services Specialist at CPS and Roy McKenzie is a research analyst with the To&Through Project.

The To&Through Data Collaborative is a space for the presentation and discussion of new work in education data in Chicago. The group meets to hear about a new body of work and give feedback on a problem of practice or project. During each presentation, we aim to accomplish three goals:

  • Build community among educational leaders focused on educational equity.
  • Highlight innovative and emerging educational/youth-serving data work.
  • Provide honest and actionable feedback to help improve our colleagues' work.

RSVPs will be required in order for guests to receive the Zoom information prior to each session, however, the sessions are open to everyone! If you have any questions or would like to be added to or removed from the listserv, please email dmckoy@uchicago.edu.
