FROM KATE HANNIGAN: I am so excited to be able to announce an agent event for this summer with the Hyde Park/South Side Chicago Network! Come one, come all and learn about what's hot and not in children's publishing, what catches an agent's eye, and what THIS PARTICULAR agent is looking for in a new client.

Cutting to the chase: Alex says she's actively building her client list with a focus on picture books, middle grade, and YA, fiction and nonfiction.
