In this workshop, you’ll learn tips to networking with the goal of creating meaningful connections.

About the workshop:

Finding the right connections can prove to be exhausting and maybe overwhelming. However, if we pay close attention, we realize that we are making connections every day. Whether it is taking a stroll in the park or getting a cup of coffee, we will most likely run into someone and start a conversation. At this workshop, you’ll learn tips to networking with the goal of creating meaningful connections whether it’s a professional or personal setting. We will discuss types of networking and where to find opportunities to socialize.Speaker:Anna Maria Viti-Welch, President, The Viti CompaniesSpeaker’s Bio:Anna graduated from Highland Park High School and received her Bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University. She currently hold memberships in the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), the Food Specialist Professional Network (FSPN), IWC, MCBA, Hatchery, and several local Chambers of Commerce. Anna has been appointed to the Board of Directors for the First Bank of Highland Park, The Gaples Institute, and Fenix Family Health. She has chaired the American Heart Association’s “Go Red for Women” event on the Northshore for two years, and is honored to have been awarded NAWBO 2014 Business Owner of the Year and in 2017 Women Entrepreneur Excellence Award by The Indian American Business Council!Anna works with incubators like MATTER, The Hatchery, and Good Food to educate founders and owners and remove confusion from business insurance. She also mentors through 1871, and business development centers like WBDC and Polsky.
