The Polsky Center is proud to present the new Entrepreneurship Essentials series. This series is designed to help you launch your startup successfully, with workshops ranging in everything from customer discovery, fundraising, marketing strategy, legal issues, and more.

Starting a business is like starting on a blank canvas. Without structure, your business idea can easily become a business flop. Using a methodology for solving problems, creating solutions and de-risking your business idea can make the difference between a successful new business and a clear failure.

Join this workshop to get an introduction to the Lean Startup methodology from Ben Schmuck who brings his experience leading innovation processes at Caterpillar and as an entrepreneur to help your business answer key questions, address essential assumptions, and build value for your potential customers.

In this workshop, Ben will introduce the methodology along with examples and important considerations. Following the workshop, you are invited to join in a ***hands-on lab*** where you will get the opportunity to use these tools in an interactive activity hosted on Zoom and the collaborative whiteboard tool, Miro.
