Earth Day of Service

On Saturday, April 26, join the University Community Service Center for an Earth Day of Service. Participants will head to various South Side neighborhoods to help with eco-focused service projects led in collaboration with community organizations. Projects will last approximately 2.5 hours with time built in to learn about the organization and hear about upcoming opportunities to engage.

Participants will gather for breakfast and check-in at the Tribune Lounge (1st Floor) of the Reynolds Club, 5706 S. University Avenue, at 10:00am. We will then head out to projects. Most projects will be at sites within walking distance of the University (within one mile) though there will be transportation available for a select few project sites. Projects will last approximately 2.5 hours, with time built in to learn about the organization and hear about upcoming opportunities to engage. All participants should expect to facilitate their own transportation and return to campus by approximately 2:30 p.m.
