Diabetes, Foot and Dental Care

This free workshop will discuss diabetes risk factors and how to properly care for your feet and teeth as a diabetic.

The workshop will be facilitated by two Certified Diabetes Empowerment Education Program (DEEP™) Peer Educators from the Urban Health Initiative team.

Attendees will be entered into a raffle for a $25 gift card. (Must be present to qualify)

What is the Diabetes Education Empowerment Program (DEEP)?

DEEP™ is a diabetes self-management program that has been shown to be successful in helping participants take control of their disease and reduce the risk of complications. The purpose of DEEP™ is to reduce diabetes-related health disparities among minorities in the US and to prevent and/or reduce adverse health outcomes related to diabetes.
