Community Business Workshop: Leveraging Deal of the Day Sites

The Community Business Workshop Series - a joint collaboration of the Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, the Institute for Justice Clinic on Entrepreneurship, and UChicago’s Office of Civic Engagement - is designed to help South Side community entrepreneurs looking for support and connections in starting up or growing their small businesses.

Groupon. Gilt City. Living Social. Every day, throughout Chicago, consumers receive a fresh bundle of deals via e-mail from these sites and many more. But how can your business leverage Deal of the Day opportunities?  Attend this workshop to hear from three entrepreneurs about how to gain revenue and customers, and how to avoid common pitfalls, when using these opportunities.

There will be a light dinner and networking session from 5:30 – 6:00 p.m.
