This workshop will provide an overview of how to create a positive environment for your team that produces effective results. By the end of this workshop, you will have access to a framework which includes considerations for designing a team, how to create effective teams, and addressing potential areas of conflict.

Awatif Yahya is the founder of Awe Horizons LLC, a company offering leadership workshops and consultancy services to business managers and entrepreneurs. Awatif is passionate about empowering small businesses with the necessary tools to create productive and healthy work places. 

About the Series

The Community Business Workshop Series is a joint collaboration of Polsky Exchange, the IJ Clinic on Entrepreneurship and the University of Chicago Office of Civic Engagement. The goal of the series is to provide South Side businesses and entrepreneurs with substantive and actionable programming to grow and sustain their businesses.
