Virtual Junior Science Cafés show middle-schoolers the infinite possibilities of STEM learning

In the Junior Science Cafés, graduate students from the University of Chicago’s Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering teach middle schoolers about science and engineering through hands-on activities and share their own personal stories about how they fell in love with science.

Meet the first member of the University of Chicago’s Class of 2025

Daniel Olmo, a first-generation college student, will receive a full-tuition, four-year scholarship to UChicago College. He applied through a new, rolling early-decision option for Chicago Public Schools students that also provides free college preparatory programs and advising.
