Members of the University of Chicago's College Advising Corps met with Chicago high school students throughout the Chicago teachers' strike in October. With impending college application deadlines and limited resources offered by high schools during the strike, the College Advising Corps offered advice on a wide range of topics, including personal statements, financial aid, and admissions essays.
