The Office of Civic Engagement’s summer movies in the park series, Midweek on the Midway, kicks off with a special Sunday night showing of E.T.: The Extra Terrestrial. All remaining movies will be on Wednesday nights.
There will be special activities prior to each of the Wednesday night screenings, begining at 7 p.m. Looney Tunes cartoons will be shown before each movie.
The 2016 line up is:
- July 10 | E.T.: The Extra Terrestrial
- July 20 | Inside Out
- July 27 | Brave
- August 3 | Pan
- August 10 | Zootopia
- August 17 | The Lorax (rescheduled from July 13 due to rain)
Movies begin at dusk, on the Midway Plaisance, between Ellis and Woodlawn avenues.
