FOX Chicago: PAL program nurtures trust between Chicago youth and law enforcement

The UChicago Police Department's chapter of the PAL program started four years ago in an effort to help build community unity and strengthen trust between youth and police officers. The PAL program allows the police department to utilize its resources to better the life skills of Chicago youth and develop academic enrichment in the area.
