To&Through Spotlight: Exploring pathways from high school to career and their payoffs in Illinois
The University of Chicago Consortium on School Research and the Illinois Workforce and Education Research Collaborative (IWERC) will host a discussion on new research examining education and upward economic mobility for Illinois students.
The event will feature findings from their Illinois High School to Career Series, including Precarious Prospects (Part One) and the forthcoming Promising Pathways (Part Two).
Sarah Cashdollar, Associate Director of Research at IWERC, and Jenny Nagaoka, Deputy Director at the UChicago Consortium, will share insights on how Illinois students from different economic backgrounds fare after high school and what education and career pathways best support upward mobility.
