Marquita Amoah

Assistant Director of Community Partnerships

Marquita is UCSC’s Assistant Director of Community Partnerships. In this role she provides strategic, programmatic, and operational support towards the development and ongoing strengthening of community partnerships for the UCSC and OCE’s Student Civic Engagement department. She supports the University of Civic Engagement framework and OCE’s ongoing role as a primary point of contact between the University, surrounding community, and the city at large.

After graduating from Barnard College, Marquita served two years in the President’s Office assisting with diversity and inclusion efforts. Following that role, Marquita then worked in the Admissions Office, leading programs that recruited self-identified students of color. Marquita joined the UCSC team in the winter of 2020.
