Personal Finance for Entrepreneurs

As an entrepreneur, solo-preneur, or you-preneur, you're in the business of your thing. You may face unique challenges when it comes to balancing the budget, fluctuating income, surprise expenses, DIY retirement savings and insurance (sound familiar?). If these ring a bell, join UChicago's Polsky Center for a lunch and learn on financial ed where you'll learn tips and tricks on mastering the financial rollercoaster of freelancing. You'll connect with others like you and take away some serious confidence for securing your future.

Individual coaching sessions will be available after the workshop. You must attend the workshop to participate and sign up.

About the presenter:

John Supple is a Financial Coach at Next Door State Farm. His main responsibility is to help people one-on-one achieve their financial goals, provide free financial education around the city, and create the content Next Door provides. 

John earned a degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in International, Resource, and Consumer Economics. After college, he worked for the banking industry in mortgage loan operations. Following that, John has spent several years in various roles helping people understand insurance, plan for retirement, and making sure they’ve invested their money in a way that works for them. He also holds his Chartered Financial Consultant, and Chartered Life Underwriter designations.
