Poverty, Promise, and Possibility aims to highlight the usable knowledge available through the University in order to illuminate both the pressing problems of poverty on the Southside and the practical steps to address them.
Year of Program Inception
This program, designed for teachers in the Chicago Public Schools, offers instruction in mathematics and in methods of teaching math. As part of the program, University students visit Chicago Public Schools classrooms during the academic year to help teachers apply what they've learned.
