Looking for mentors for boys and girls aged 11-13.
The Hyde Park Learning Resource Center was founded in 1998 to address the needs of inner city youth. Over the past eight years the Hyde Park Learning Resource Center has worked to provide inner city school age children with the tools they need for academic success, to enhance the quality of family life through mentoring, and strengthen community.
Its ongoing after-school homework assistance, consistent supplemental education, standardized test preparatory classes, and individual and group tutoring supports every aspect of its students' scholarship. Although academic preparation is its central mission, the center also encourages exposure to the arts, physical activity, self-esteem, and personal development through everyday engagement and mentoring.
It is currently looking for mentors for boys and girls aged 11-13.
