UChicago Youth Internship Program Info Session

The Year 1 Experience takes an earn and learn approach with career and college preparation through workshops, seminars, and activities. This includes a guest speaker series from a variety of STEM professionals, workplace tours, professional leadership lessons, college tours, post-secondary planning, and service learning. The following summer (2025), participants who successfully completed the Year 1 Experience are eligible to reapply for a YIP Year 2 Internship within one of several University units for a six-week job in health sciences, computer sciences, or IT services.

We will be hosting a YIP Virtual Information Session on Thursday, April 4, 2024 from 6:00  - 7:00pm. You will hear more about this paid summer employment opportunity, learn about the application process and important deadlines, and ask any questions you may have regarding the UChicago Youth Internship Program. Students, families, and counselors are welcome to attend.
