Pandemic to Progress: Innovations in Housing Stability Summit

UChicago's Inclusive Economy Lab will host a full-day conference on Wednesday, May 22th, 2024, titled Pandemic to Progress: Innovations in Housing Stability. The full-day summit will:

• Highlight novel findings and their implications for policy and practice
• Facilitate conversations between researchers, practitioners, and policymakers on using research to strengthen systems and inform programmatic decision-making
• Allow partners to share firsthand how findings have informed their work in Chicago
• Identify gaps in current approaches and where further research is still needed

The summit will feature panelists who are policymakers, practitioners, and people with lived experience, along with other researchers in the field, to ensure that the focus of discussion is on application of research findings and real world impact. Through discussion in panels, small groups, and large group question and answer sessions, the Lab commits to capturing and disseminating feedback from attendees, panelists, and presenters on key areas where future research is needed to help guide local and national research agendas.
