Nick Currie is the UCSC’s Community Service Advisor. In this role he provides advising support and resource management for more than 60 Community Service Recognized Organizations (CSRSOs), and manages the Seeds of Justice and Alternative Spring Break cohort programs. After graduating from the College (A.B. ’11, History and Theatre), Nick served two years with the Episcopal Service Corps in Chicago, immersing himself in the city’s ongoing work for social change and living in an intentional community with his program fellows. After completing his M.Ed. in Youth Development from UIC and working in a variety of nonprofit spaces – from youth centers to churches – Nick joined the UCSC team in the fall of 2014.
