Kate Von Holle is Director of Federal Research Development at the University of Chicago. She reports to the Office of Federal Relations in Washington, D.C., and supports the local, national, and international initiatives of the Office of the Vice President for Research and National Laboratories to promote the University’s research capabilities and accomplishments.
Prior to joining UChicago, Kate was Senior Policy Advisor for Science and Innovation at the British Embassy in Washington, D.C., where she advised the Ambassador regarding science policy developments. Kate received her B.S. in Biology at the College of William & Mary and earned her M.S. in Environmental Science and Policy from the University of Illinois.
